2nd Engineer in Australia

Summary

This position is a 2:2 rotational 2nd Engineer position. Will suit a Male candidate, with at least 2 years experience on high end superyachts. Strong on AV and communications equipment would be plus.

Working with the Chief Engineer, your role onboard will entail managing and maintaining all equipment and systems on board.

The yacht will be cruising Sydney, East Coast of Australia, and then Fiji for the charter season.

MED1/Y4 or higher ticket required

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)

Engineering Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• MCA Engine Watch Rating Certificate
• MCA Marine Engine Operator License (Y)
• RIII/3 Y4 Chief Engineer (<200gt <1500kW)/ EOOW III/1 (SV) (<3000gt <9000kW)
• 2nd Engineer III/2 (SV) (<3000gt <9000kW)
