Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Junior Stewardess to join the interior team on a private or charter luxury yacht based in Dubai, UAE.
As a Junior Stewardess, you will support the Chief Stewardess and senior interior crew in delivering exceptional guest experiences, maintaining impeccable interior standards, and ensuring smooth operations onboard. The position starts on October 29, 2025, with potential for seasonal or permanent contracts based on performance. This role involves working in a fast-paced, high-end environment with opportunities for travel within the UAE and beyond.
The yacht operates primarily in the Arabian Gulf, offering exposure to high-profile guests, cultural events, and the vibrant yachting scene in Dubai Marina or Abu Dhabi ports. Expect long hours during charters (up to 12-14 per day), but with rewarding perks like crew accommodations, meals, and industry networking.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily housekeeping duties, including cleaning guest cabins, salons, and common areas to luxury yacht standards (e.g., polishing surfaces, arranging linens, and ensuring spotless presentation).
- Support guest service during meals and events: Set up tables, serve beverages, assist with fine dining or casual buffets, and provide attentive, discreet hospitality.
- Handle laundry and ironing: Wash, press, and fold uniforms, linens, and guest items using professional equipment.
- Provisioning support: Help stock guest and crew amenities (e.g., toiletries, towels) and log inventory under the guidance of the Chief Stewardess.
- Basic bar and beverage service: Prepare simple drinks, act as barista if needed, and maintain bar areas.
- Flower arranging, plant care, and minor decor tasks to enhance onboard ambiance.
- Assist with embarkation/disembarkation: Greet guests warmly, manage luggage, and ensure smooth transitions.
- Participate in safety drills, fire watches, and general crew duties as required.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to yacht protocols for privacy and security.

Requirements and Qualifications
- Experience: 0-1 year in hospitality (e.g., hotel housekeeping, restaurant service, or cruise ship roles). Yacht experience is a plus but not required—enthusiasm to learn is key. UAE hospitality background preferred for local knowledge.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, positive attitude, and ability to work under pressure. Basic knowledge of silver service, wine service, or barista skills is advantageous.
- Certifications: STCW Basic Safety Training (preferred; training can be provided if needed). ENG1 medical certificate and UAE food hygiene certification.
- Personal Attributes: Professional demeanor, team player, discreet, and physically fit. Excellent English communication; Arabic or Russian a bonus for diverse guests.
- Availability: Immediate start on October 28, 2025. Willingness to work rotational shifts, including weekends and evenings. Must hold or be eligible for a UAE residence visa.
