Summary
We are looking for a 2nd Engineer to join a 40m recently launched Private M/Y
- Dual season, which also will include Panama, Costa Rica, Galapagos, and Scandinavia
- Support the Chief Engineer in all aspects of the engine room and technical operations
- Carry out planned and preventative maintenance on all systems
- Assist with warranty work, snagging, and aftercare following the launch
- Ensure all systems are maintained to the highest standard, ready for a busy first season
- EOOW as a minimum, although Y3 ticket preferred
- Solid engineering background with strong hands-on skills
- Experience with PMS and technical record keeping
- Confident across day-to-day maintenance, troubleshooting, and watchkeeping duties
- B1/B2 would be good to have but not essential
- Salary of €5,000 - €6,000 DOE is on offer
- Time for time rotation
