Silver Swan is seeking a warm, reliable, and proactive Housekeeper/Nanny to join a busy international household in Madrid. The role is a live-in position supporting a professional couple with two daughters. The ideal candidate will seamlessly manage the household while providing nurturing support to the children.
The family has lived in Madrid for three years. Both parents have busy professional roles and value a household that runs smoothly with a trusted team member who feels like family.
Please Note: Candidates must hold an EU passport or the Right to work in Spain prior to applying as, unfortunately, we do not offer visa sponsorship. If you do not hold an EU passport or the Right to work in Spain upon applying, your application will NOT be considered.
Responsibilities:
- School runs and after-school supervision, including driving for pick-ups/activities.
- Engage the children in English and Spanish to maintain fluency.
- Daily cleaning and upkeep of a 5-bedroom, 2-story, 450 sqm home.
- Laundry, ironing, and wardrobe management.
- Grocery shopping and errand running, including meal planning and cooking.
- Ensure the home runs smoothly while both parents maintain demanding careers.
- Take initiative and anticipate family needs.
Ideal Candidate:
- An EU passport or a valid Spanish residency.
- Previous live-in experience as a housekeeper/nanny or similar role.
- Confident driver with a valid license.
- Fluent/native English and Spanish.
- Warm, trustworthy, and adaptable with a positive attitude.
- Proactive self-starter who feels part of the family.
- Energetic and engaging.
- Excellent references and a clean driving record.
Package:
- Accommodation: Private ensuite bedroom within the main house
- Start Date: ASAP.
- Salary: €2,500 – 3,000 Net per Month DOE
