Summary

Second Engineer – 60m+ Private, World-Cruising Yacht (Equal Rotation)


We are seeking a skilled and motivated Second Engineer to join a 60m+ privately owned motor yacht with an exciting world-cruising itinerary. The yacht is currently undergoing her 5-year survey, ensuring she is in top condition for upcoming travels. This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer who enjoys adventure, technical challenges, and being part of a professional, supportive crew.


Responsibilities:


Assist the Chief Engineer in the safe, efficient running of all technical operations.


Carry out planned and preventative maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.


Troubleshoot and repair equipment as required to ensure smooth vessel operations.


Participate in watchkeeping, daily checks, and record keeping.


Maintain high standards of safety, compliance, and professionalism onboard.


Requirements:


Minimum EOOW / SV EOOW / Y equivalent.


Previous yacht experience preferred; strong commercial background considered.


Solid knowledge of diesel engines, generators, hydraulics, and general yacht systems.


Proactive, hands-on approach with excellent problem-solving skills.


Valid STCW, ENG1, and up-to-date certification.
