This position will suit a 2nd engineer looking for their first Chief position. Please note however, that this job is not open to every man and their dog with an AEC. You must be a solid engineer and show longevity already as an engineer onboard similar sized sail yachts not motor yachts. You will be expected as always to help out on deck when needed, but of course the deck team will also help you out to. The clients have requested a fresh and eager engineer, so make of that what you will. The vessel has just had a 10 year refit and she I looking as good as new, and you will be delivering her from France to Spain with the assistance of the currently outgoing engineer at the end of September.
