Experienced Chief Engineer – 46m Italian Build (2015)
We are seeking an experienced and professional Chief Engineer (Y3 minimum) for a 2015, 46m Italian-built vessel.
This is a new private program for a lovely family with prior yacht ownership experience.Vessel is currently cruising in the Caribbean for the next few months and then will be shipped over to the med.
The Chief Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the vessel’s engineering department, maintaining all onboard systems to the highest standard, and supporting the Captain in establishing the program from the ground up.
Program Overview:
- Dual-season operation: East Coast of Florida, Bahamas, and Caribbean (winter) / Mediterranean & European cruising (summer).
- Private use only: Non-charter program.
- Dynamic itinerary: Exploration and extended cruising in both regions.
Package:
- MLC-compliant contract.

Requirements:
- Y3 CoC (minimum) or equivalent.
- Must be available within the next couple weeks
- Proven experience as Chief Engineer on similar-sized vessels (40m+).
- Strong technical knowledge across mechanical, electrical, and AV/IT systems.
- Excellent troubleshooting and preventative maintenance skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with the Captain and new crew to set up a safe, efficient program.
