Temporary Motorman Position: 90m+ Superyacht
We are seeking a highly skilled and professional Motorman for a temporary contract spanning approximately six weeks. This is an immediate opportunity to join the crew of a prestigious custom-built superyacht.
Start Date: Next Wednesday August 27th, 2025 in the USA.
End Date: Friday October 10th, 2025
Visa: A valid B1/B2 visa is required to ensure a smooth and rapid joining process.
The Role
The successful candidate will be an essential member of the engineering team, providing crucial support for all engine room operations. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Performing routine engine room checks and logging data.
- Assisting the Chief Engineer with maintenance and preventative tasks.
- Carrying out daily bilge and tank soundings.
- Maintaining cleanliness and order within the engine room and technical spaces.
- Responding to and assisting with any engineering-related issues.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for a dedicated and ambitious individual who possesses:
- Certification: STCW III/4 Rating Forming Part of an Engineering Watch and STCW Basic Safety Training are essential.
- A proven track record as a Motorman on cruise ships or yachts over 80 meters.
- A strong desire for professional growth and a keen interest in working with cutting-edge marine technology.
- A positive, solutions-oriented attitude and an exceptional work ethic.
- Prior experience on large cruise ships is considered a significant advantage.
