Chief Engineer in United States

Summary

We are looking for a Chief Engineer for a 55m.

We are currently based in USA, will be cruising Bahamas, Carib and in 2026 the Med.

Position is 3:1 with potentially becoming rotation in 1 year time.

B1/B2 is a must

Y2 preferred but open to Y3

Yacht Experience is necessary

Ideal candidate is someone looking to step up to Chief or stepping up in size. Ch Eng must be hands on and have a proactive approach to work.

Start Date: Ideally start next week.

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)

Engineering Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• RIII/3 Y3 Chief Engineer (<500gt <3000kW)/ Chief Engineer (SV) (<500gt 3000kW)
• RIII/2 Y2 Chief Engineer (<3000gt <3000kW)/ Chief Engineer (SV) (<3000gt <9000kW)
