Position: STEWARD/ESS - Temporary for around 2 months - male or female

CONTRACTS - Temporary - possibility to be extended

License Required: 1+ years prior experience as a stew on larger yachts. 50m+ Ideally

Requirements:

Working with an interior team. Willing to work hands on in housekeeping, laundry, cleaning.  

STCW + Refresher

Food safety/hygiene

Passport (valid min. 1 year)

B1/B2 visa (minimum 1 year) or US passport / green card 

Mature, sense of humor, gets on well with others. 

Positive Personality and an upbeat attitude is very important. Positive vibes.

Background check and drug testing may apply.

Must have great references

Responsibilities: Stewardess - hands on experience in all interior departments, helping to plan crew activities, motivator. A positive personality.

Job Specifics: 

Work week is typically Mon-Fri 8am-4pm plus schedule weekend watches. The time can be more or less depending on the vessel needs but the time listed is a standard week.

This is a non-traditional roll as we will not have guests, no guest trips. It is taking care of the crew areas, laundry, and maintaining the vessels interior. Plus any additional work as directed by the captain, lead stewardess or chief officer (assist with fenders during dockings, drills, etc..)  

We would like someone that can start right away and stay with us for around 2 months and when the new owner comes on, possibly stay longer. 

Salary range: Within yachting salary guidelines depending on experience - very good

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)

Food & Hygiene Qualifications

• Food Hygiene (HABC Level 2)
