Temp Chief Engineer – 40m+ Private M/Y

Döhle Yacht Crew are seeking a hands-on and experienced Chief Engineer to join a 40m+ private motor yacht currently based in the Mediterranean.

This is a temporary position for approximately 6 weeks, with an immediate start. The ideal candidate will have previous experience on older vessels and strong problem-solving abilities. You must be confident managing the engine room independently but will also have the assistance of a Deck/Engineer when required.

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 6 weeks (with potential to go permanent)

Cabin: Shared

Salary: Euro 8000+ doe

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)

Engineering Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• RIII/3 Y4 Chief Engineer (<200gt <1500kW)/ EOOW III/1 (SV) (<3000gt <9000kW)
