LAZY ME JOB SPECIFICATION: 3rd Stewardess
M/Y Lazy me is looking for a permanent 3rd Stewardess for a 41m private yacht which runs with 9 crew. Looking to start in early September.
We are looking for someone with a sunny disposition, team player and ideally a season’s experience in both laundry and housekeeping. The 3rd Stewardess is responsible for crew & guest laundry, and maintaining & restocking the Crew Mess. During guest trips they will also be on cabin duty, as well as assisting with service, and helping in the Galley.
The crew live ashore whilst in El Gouna, Egypt, with accommodation supplied. When in El Gouna the yacht is more of a day boat so to speak. The yacht’s itinerary is roughly 60 days summer in Mykonos and cruising around the Med.
The family:
Lazy Me is a family boat, the “children” are in their mid-twenties-early-thirties. The family are fun, lovely and polite (boat is an extension of their home) but like things a certain way and on time. We sometimes have a full boat and sometimes not so it is not always busy although during the main trips it can be quite fast paced.
Package:
2800 euro per month permanent contract
38 days holiday per year
Full medical and dental insurance
Courses paid for: the boat will pay 50% of the cost upon completion of the course and the other 50% a year after completion. (If one of the other crew leave and you are asked to continue your contract).
PERFORMANCE BASED BONUS 13th months at the owner’s discretion
