Chief Engineer in Greece

Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Chief Engineer to join an 80m private motor yacht. This is a dual-season vessel with a busy itinerary cruising the Mediterranean and Caribbean.

Position Details:

• Start Date: ASAP
• Rotation: 2:2 (2 months on / 2 months off)
• Salary: €8,000 per month (paid 12 months)
• Itinerary: Mediterranean (summer) / Caribbean (winter)
• Type: Private, no charter

Requirements:

• Minimum Y1/Y2 CoC or equivalent
• Proven experience as Chief Engineer on vessels of similar size and operation
• Strong leadership and technical skills
• Excellent record of planned maintenance and engineering department management
• Professional, discreet, and adaptable to a busy owner's schedule

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)
• Drivers License

Engineering Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• RIII/2 Y2 Chief Engineer (<3000gt <3000kW)/ Chief Engineer (SV) (<3000gt <9000kW)
• RIII/2 Y1 Chief Engineer (<3000gt <9000kW)/ Chief Engineer (SV) (<3000gt <9000kW)
