DECKHAND / PERSONAL TRAINER POSITION - 200-foot Private yacht that Winters in the Bahamas / Caribbean and Summers in the US East Coast / Mediterranean
Looking for a professional, and mature person to serve as a Deckhand in our deck department. The Deckhand should have some experience in the superyacht industry, or aboard private vessels, and is keen to learn and work hard. It is essential that the Deckhand can perform assigned tasks efficiently with a positive attitude in addition to interacting with owners and guests in a professional manner.
Start Date: August 15, 2015, but can wait for the right person
Qualifications:
· STCW/Security Awareness and refresher if applicable
· Current medical certificate (ENG1 or US Equivalent)
· Valid Passport
· Valid B1/B2 Visa, and Schengen if applicable
Job Responsibilities:
· Cleanliness of the yacht wash downs, stainless polishing, waxing
· Assisting Bosun and Mate in maintenance projects, sanding and taping up for varnishing, or painting, caulking, filling
· Hands on leader of deck crew
· Continued learning of yacht maintenance, operations and systems, line handling, tender driving, navigation, safety, water sports

Other Requirements:
· Mid 20’s to late 20’s, mature, serious types, well mannered
· Male, healthy, physically fit, nonsmokers. No electronic cigarette users
· No tattoos
· Neat clean cut, clean shaven (every day)
· Polite, and respectful to crew, owner and supervisor – Chief Officer, Chef, Chief Stewardess, and Chief Engineer
· Longevity with good references
