Relief Chief Engineer in United States

Summary

We are looking for a temp engineer to cover the CE during a transitional period.

The candidate will need to be experienced in the following systems during this time.

Working with IDEA software

Keeping up to date with routine maintenance on all systems and repairs.

Electrical, AVIT, Sewage plant (Hamann), Hydraulics, MTU 4000 V8, John Deere - Zenoro generators, and all other basic equipment onboard.

This will be for a period of 18 days until the new CE arrives on the 1st September.

The temp engineer will receive a full handover with the current CE and you will be expected to do a basic handover with the new CE on 1st Sep.

We would require a Y3 as a minimum to apply for this position.

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)
• Drivers License

Engineering Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• RIII/3 Y3 Chief Engineer (<500gt <3000kW)/ Chief Engineer (SV) (<500gt 3000kW)
