Job description: We are looking for an experienced Head of Department with with extensive experience both in Service and Housekeeping to join our interior team on a prestigious 100m+ Private MY. The chosen candidate will report to the Master, or in his absence, the Chief Officer.
The interior department is run by three HODs on a 4/2 schedule: Head of Housekeeping, Head of Service, and Head of Service/House. This role rotates between 2 months in service and 2 months in housekeeping, followed by 2 months off.
The candidate will take full responsibility for all operations of the housekeeping, laundry, and service departments, including guests and crew, lead with strong organizational, and communication skills, leads by example, motivate and support other team members. You will also be responsible for providing the highest standards to the guests and staff ensuring that their requirements and needs are met, up to 100 guests as well as for safety of the guests and crew.
- Minimum 3 years in yachting industry on large boats.
- At least 5 years of land-based high end hospitality or Cruise ship experience.
- PYA Advanced, Management & Leadership training
- Cyber Security Awareness
- Schengen visa (if applicable)
- B1/B2 visa (a plus)
- International Drivers license
Contract: Permanent
Leave: 120 days (4:2, subject to the vessel's operational requirement).
Other: Trial period: 90 days where leave cannot be taken. Return flights to home destination included. Great Health insurance package.
Salary: 6500€
