We are currently recruiting an experienced Temp.Chef for a 42-meter Motor Yacht (built 2013 / refit 2023), soon to be under new ownership and supported by a strong, well-organized program.
Yacht Details:
- 42m Motor Yacht | Cayman Island flag
- 8 crew total
- Highly motivated Owner with technical insight and collaborative style
Requirements:
- Proven experience as sole Chef on yachts of similar size and program
- Strong background in Mediterranean cuisine (Italian, French, Greek, Spanish influences)
- Previous charter experience, including ability to adapt menus to varied guest preferences and dietary needs
- Skilled in provisioning, budgeting, and managing galley operations both at anchor and during crossings
- Ability to handle busy guest weeks with professionalism, energy, and creativity
- High standards of hygiene and organization
- Team player with a flexible, proactive, and upbeat attitude
- Confident communicator, able to work closely with the Captain, Owner, and charter guests
