Summary

We are looking for a rotational 3rd Engineer to join a 75m commercial motor yacht, launched in 2017. The expected start date is at the end of August, but exact date TBD. We can either look for someone to join for a temporary period for September, or the right candidate can join as a permanent rotational position based on 10 weeks on/off, likely with a shorter initial rotation.

Salary €3500 x 12. Tips shared whether on or off rotation.

The vessel will be operational for September to finish off our summer season, before heading to the shipyard in France for the winter. The summer of 2026 will be Med charter before departing on a lengthy world cruise. We are looking for someone that is happy both for the upcoming long yard period with lots of interesting projects, as well as planning to commit in the long term for the world cruise, which should involve plenty of sea time as well as some charter.

The ideal candidate will have their AEC 1 and 2 and be progressing towards EOOW. A trade background is an advantage but not mandatory, as are any additional skills such as CAD, DJing, videography, etc. Some yachting experience is preferred.

Looking for a personable and enthusiastic engineer to join a tight-knit and friendly crew. The third engineer takes responsibility for day-to-day housekeeping, spares inventory, planned maintenance, as well as mucking in with troubleshooting and repairs/upgrades as needed. Team of 3 engineers onboard, all rotational.
