DECKHAND – 75M+ MY
We are looking for a hardworking and motivated Deckhand to join a busy 75m+ private/charter motor yacht with a dual-season program. The itinerary includes a packed Mediterranean season, followed by a Caribbean season with charters already confirmed. You'll be joining a close-knit, active crew that promotes a fit and healthy lifestyle, and work for genuinely lovely, respectful owners.
The role is hands-on and involves extensive tender operations, along with daily watersports during charters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Exterior maintenance, cleaning, and detailing
- Tender driving and watersports setup/support
- Assisting with docking, anchoring, and general deck operations
- Guest interaction during charters
Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of yachting experience
- Proven longevity in previous roles
- STCW, ENG1, and valid passport
- Yachtmaster certificate preferred, but not essential
- Bonus skills: videography, drone operation, or content creation (strongly desired)
- PWC Proficiency certificate
- B1/B2 Visa with at least 6 months’ validity
- If not an EU passport holder, must hold a valid Schengen visa
- Strong work ethic, team-oriented attitude, and willingness to take direction
- Excellent communication skills and a positive, can-do mindset
Package:
- Salary: USD $3,800/month (can be paid in EUR)
- Leave: 60 days per year
- Full medical coverage, including emergency dental and optical
- Flights: 2 x return flights per annum to home port
