Summary

Lead HK required for 90+m MY

  • The Lead Housekeeper is fully in charge of a permanent HK team. Day to day role includes writing work lists, conducting inventories, uniform management, owner preference purchasing, interior maintenance, involvement with recruitment etc. She will work together with the Lead Service on a daily basis to ensure the Interior Team runs smoothly. This role is very much guest facing so we’re looking for a someone who is strong, confident, reliable and drama-free.

Responsibilities will include;

  • Ensuring Housekeeping service of the highest standard to Owners and Guests
  • Monitoring of all Owner and Guest personal items
  • Managing and overseeing wardrobe valet for Owners and guests, including laundry and all personal items for excursions and activities
  • Training of all the Interior Housekeeping department to ensure high standards and continuity in the owners housekeeping service
  • Informing and advising the Head of Service/Purser on the purchasing of the owner’s current preferences of housekeeping guest products and supplies, and crew-related housekeeping items
  • Liaising with owners’ residences for new owner and guest preferences, habits, and up-to-date clothing sizes, to prepare the vessel for owners’ trips
  • Protecting, maintaining, and caring for valuable Interior surfaces and items, including artwork
  • Ensuring the highest level of cleanliness and sanitation in all guest and crew Interior areas
  • Ensuring all housekeeping equipment and appliances are used in a safe and correct manner. Ensuring that they are properly cleaned and maintained, and any faulty or broken equipment and appliances are reported to the Head of Service/Captain
  • Ensuring in the maintenance of all guest and crew Interior areas and reporting any damages and breakages to the Head of Service/Captain
  • Ensuring a high standard of safety, hygiene and environmental practices are maintained by the housekeeping team
  • Assisting and supporting the Service team if help is required
  • Maintaining up-to-date and correct housekeeping manuals, inventories, checklists, and guest information documents,
  • Keeping Purser promptly and fully informed of any occurrences within the Interior that may affect the integrity or standards of safe and efficient running operations
  • Watchkeeping in accordance with the list of responsibilities in the Interior

This is a rotational role with a 2:2 and some flexibility

Salary DOE - 6000-6500 USD
