Captain

Summary

We are looking for a Captain for a 75ft Power Catamaran based in the US. The vessel will be private and charter.

You will need to have had minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Captains role with proven longevity, the owners are looking for someone long term, meaning you will need to be comfortable being based in the U.S.

You will need to hold a Master 500GT to be considered for the role due to the flag and available to start within the next 3-4 weeks ideally

Qualifications/experience

·     Master 500GT STCW grade II/3 

·     AEC 1&2

·     5 years within a Captains role

·     Minimum of 1 year in each role

·     Shipyard and shipping experience preferred

·     B1/B2 or US Passport holder

Package

·     Start date: ASAP

·     Salary: DOE USD (competitive)

·     Leave: 60 days a year

Essential Qualifications

Master/Skipper Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• MCA CoC Master <500gt / Class 5

Engineering Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• MCA Approved Engine Course (AEC 1 & 2) Certificate
