Vessel: 28m MY Private
Location: Bridgeport, CT
Current work: Final stages of shaft alignment; splash and sea trials planned in the coming weeks
Delivery: To the Med as soon as sea trials are complete (TBC)
Candidate preference: Ideally already in the U.S., but open
Contract: Temp - 2 months
Salary: €10,000 - €12,000 per month DOE
Start Date: ASAP

This 28m MY is currently looking for a temp sole engineer with a minimum of 5 years yachting experience to join them asap in the states. The ideal candidate will have both B1B2 and Schengen visas in hand, crew without them will not be considered. You will have all expected engineer tickets in hand, and have previous experience in the same role on a similar sized vessel. If your heart is set on larger yachts then please do not apply, we want crew who prefer to work on smaller yachts with a smaller yacht background and mind set. You will be sole engineer onboard, but the mate onboard will also be at hand to help you out when required and vice versa.
