Sole Engineer in French Polynesia

Summary

HMG is seeking an experienced Y3 or (III/3)MN Level sole Engineer for a 44m Charter yacht.

You should have good broad knowledge of modern yacht systems and good longevity in previous roles. References MUST be verifiable.

Cabin is shared, leave is at 45 days with extra discretionary days from the Captain when possible.

Charter experience required, along with excellent references.

CAT Generators, MTU Mains, NAIAD Stabilisers, Clima Cool air conditioning.

Good knowledge of AV/IT and electrical required,

Yacht will cruise South Pacific and Australian waters. They will also take care of any Visas required.

Great, active crew on board with very good Captain leading.

You need to know what you are doing as the yacht cruises in some remote locations for the upcoming charter season.

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)

Engineering Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• RIII/3 Y3 Chief Engineer (<500gt <3000kW)/ Chief Engineer (SV) (<500gt 3000kW)
• RIII/1 Engineer Officer of the Watch (Unlimited)
