SECOND ENGINEER

Daily Rate: $300

Contract: 3 months (possibility to extend)

Start: ASAP

Support the Chief Engineer in all technical aspects of the vessel.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with setup, installation, and testing of all engineering systems
• Carry out routine maintenance and repairs
• Monitor engine room operations and machinery performance
• Maintain engineering logs and inventories
• Respond to defects and emergencies as required
• Participate in safety drills and ISM compliance
• Reporting to: Chief Engineer
• What we expect:
• Second Engineer (Y3/Y4 or equivalent)
• Previous yacht or commercial experience
• Strong technical knowledge and willingness to learn
• Valid STCW and ENG1

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)

Engineering Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• 2nd Engineer III/2 (SV) (<3000gt <9000kW)
• RIII/2 Chief Engineer (Unlimited)/ Class 1
