Summary
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Deckhand to join our dynamic team onboard a 75m+ private yacht. The ideal candidate will be competent in all basic deck operations, with good organisational skills and a proactive, positive attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform all deck operations, including line handling, tender driving, washdowns, polishing, and general maintenance
• Support the deck team in maintaining exterior standards and ensuring the yacht is kept to a high standard at all times
• Assist with guest activities and water sports as required
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines onboard
• Collaborate closely with other departments to provide exceptional service to guests
Candidate Requirements:
• 6–12 months of experience on yachts 60m+
• Essential qualifications: STCW, ENG1, PWC, Yacht Master, Yacht Rating is essential, PWCI is advantageous
• Strong work ethic, with the ability to work efficiently and effectively in a team environment
• Candidates currently located in Europe only (repatriation to the UK or EU only)
• Male candidates only due to cabin arrangements
Contract Details:
• Temporary MLC SEA for 6 months, with the possibility of extension
• Start date: Within 2 weeks
• Salary: TBC (in Euros)
• Leave accumulation: 38 days per annum
