Summary
TYS Recruitment is seeking a 2nd stew on a 55m private M/Y currently in Spain
- Start date: 10th July
- Salary: $4500 DOE
- Visa: B1/B2 if needed.

The ideal candidate should have at least two years of solid yachting experience on vessels of a similar size. The interior team consists of 4 stews, and you will guide and support junior stews onboard. Proficiency in housekeeping is crucial, while the service onboard is fairly relaxed, with no expectation of extravagant table settings. Candidates should be capable of stepping into the Chief Stew position when needed and taking the lead when necessary.
The family onboard is a laid-back American family of 6, with children ranging from teenagers to mid-20s. They all enjoy a relaxed and friendly program with the crew, which includes a lot of fishing and surfing. The HODs and Captain have had incredible longevity onboard, and there is a wonderful Chief Stew who enjoys providing onboard training to her team.
The owners highly value a friendly and personable crew onboard and enjoy an informal atmosphere. The vessel is currently located in Spain but will have a trip in France in August and then do a trip in the Azores on the way across to the Caribbean for winter 2025.
