Role: Full-time Housekeeper/Nanny
Location: Fisher Island, FL
Salary: $38 - $40 per hour
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Start Date: Late July to Early August 2025
Job Description:
A private family residing on Fisher Island is seeking a warm, proactive, and team-oriented Housekeeper/Nanny to join their household team. This is a support role working alongside existing full-time nannies and the housekeeper, not a sole-charge position. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with both childcare and housekeeping duties and responsibilities and will enjoy working collaboratively in a fully staffed home. The family has 4 children, under 10 years old.
There is always another nanny present during this shift; you will not be the only caregiver.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the care and supervision of four children, as directed by the nanny present
- Engage children in age-appropriate play, reading, and creative activities
- Support afternoon routines, including snack time, playtime, bath, and dinner prep
- Assist in transporting children around the island to tennis, the park, or occasional school pick-ups (via golf cart - driver's license is essential)
- Housekeeping duties as needed: tidying up play areas, children's laundry, and assisting the lead housekeeper with all tasks
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for the children
Candidate Requirements:
- Prior experience working in a similar Housekeeper/Nanny role
- Positive, flexible, and team-player attitude
- Discreet and professional demeanor
- Comfortable driving a golf cart
- Legal to work in the U.S.
- Fluent in English
