Chief Officer/1st Mate in Spain

Summary

We are looking First Mate for a 35m+ Private/Charter M/Y.

-Seasonal position to start this week in Spain until December.

-Itinerary: Cruising the Med for the Summer.

-Candidates should have YM Offshore and AEC1&2 in hand.

-Experience on a similar sized vessel as a First Mate is essential.

-You will be required to assist the Engineer, therefore a mechanical background is advantageous.

-Watersport knowledge and tender driving skills are important.

-Should be English speaking. Spanish is a bonus.

-Total of 6 mixed nationality crew onboard.

-Non smoking vessel and no visible tattoos

Salary DOE with a standard MLC SEA.

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)

Master/Skipper Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• RYA Yachtmaster Offshore

Engineering Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• MCA Approved Engine Course (AEC 1 & 2) Certificate
