Summary

65m+ M/Y Seeking a qualified officer with a strong work ethic and longevity to join our program immediately.

Solid experience in an Officer role on vessels 60m+

The successful candidate will possess excellent, proven working knowledge of:

  • ISM and Safety Management Systems
  • Planned Maintenance Systems
  • Passage planning
  • Chart and publication updates (OneOcean software and Furuno ECDIS)
  • Navigation and seamanship
  • Garbage management and MARPOL compliance
  • GMDSS testing and radio logs
  • Logbooks and bridge record keeping
  • Good knowledge of Port state inspections and Flag/Class Inspections

Experienced navigational watchkeeper and In-depth knowledge of safety and emergency protocols

Comfortable working independently and supporting the Chief Officer with drills, safety inspections, and crew training.

High standards of documentation, communication, and situational awareness along with strong leadership and willingness to get stuck in on deck.

This role will suit an experienced officer with long term ambitions seeking to join a good program with a great crew and owners, or an officer with a commercial background looking to get their foot in the door in the yachting industry.

Minimum requirements:

STCW basic safety and advanced

Officer of the Watch CoC <3000gt

Passport with at least 6months exp

Drivers license

ENG1 (or equivalent)

Desirable:

PWC

Furuno type specific ecdis

Commercial certificates, OOW unlimited ect

Visas

  • Schengen (or EU Resident)

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)
  • STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
  • ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)
  • Drivers License
Master/Skipper Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)
  • MCA CoC Officer of the Watch <3000gt
