Summary

Position: 2nd Engineer  

Vessel Type: 78-Meter Motor Yacht  

Rotation: 8 Weeks On/Off  

Job Description:  We are seeking a qualified and experienced 2nd Engineer to join our dynamic team aboard a luxurious 78-meter motor yacht. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual to contribute to the successful operation and maintenance of a prestigious vessel.


Key Responsibilities

Run all technical and operational aspects of the yacht's engineering systems with the Chief Engineer

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery, engines, and auxiliary systems.

Monitor safety and compliance standards to ensure the highest levels of operational efficiency.

Participate in inventory management and ordering of parts and supplies as needed.

Assist in training and mentoring junior crew members.


Requirements:

Valid STCW certification.

Marine engineering qualifications (preferably Y3, SV seconds or higher).

Previous experience in a similar role on a motor yacht of at least 60 meters or chief engineer on a smaller vessel.

Strong technical skills and knowledge of marine systems.

Ability to work well within a team in a high-pressure environment.

  • RIII/3 Y3 Chief Engineer (<500gt <3000kW)/ Chief Engineer (SV) (<500gt 3000kW)
  • RIII/2 Y2 Chief Engineer (<3000gt <3000kW)/ Chief Engineer (SV) (<3000gt <9000kW)
