Seeking a Rotational 2nd Engineer for World-Cruising 70-Meter M/Y

Private Vessel | Light Charter | Heavy Owner Use

Join a relaxed, professional crew aboard a world-cruising, well-maintained 70-meter motor yacht.

We’re looking for a hands-on 2nd Engineer to join an experienced engineering team. You’ll be working alongside highly skilled Chief Engineers, gaining extensive sea time and contributing to a positive, team-focused onboard culture.

The yacht is currently in Alaska, with a unique itinerary ahead — including the Galápagos, Costa Rica, and the Caribbean — before heading to Barcelona for a 20-year Lloyd’s survey in 2027.

Start Date: Late July / Early August 2025

Rotation: 8 Weeks On / 8 Weeks Off

Compensation Package: €6,300–€6,500/month DOE + Full Rotation

Skills and Attributes Required:

·       Minimum SV 2^nd Engineer License 

·       Solid engineering background with hands-on experience.

·       Proven longevity and strong references (written and verbal)

·       High level of self-motivation and reliability.

·       Positive, easy-going personality with a team-player attitude.

·       Previous yacht experience.

Qualifications Required:

·       STCW (Fully Updated)

·       ENG1 Medical Certificate

·       Valid B1/B2 Visa 

·       SV 2nd Engineer (Y3)

Additional Info:

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)

Engineering Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• 2nd Engineer III/2 (SV) (<3000gt <9000kW)
