Chase Boat Captain in Italy

Summary

54m Private Motor Yacht seeking a couple to run its 50ft Wally chase boat.

Great opportunity for an established couple to run their own little yacht.

You will live and work on the chase boat, while being expected to occasionally help out on the main vessel.

Chase boat captain must have previous experience driving 45-50ft tenders, previous experience on a Wally is a massive bonus. As this is a brand new vessel, you will need to be comfortable setting it up from scratch. This will include deck supplies, engineering spares, lines, fenders etc.

Stewardess should have at least one season of yachting experience. You should be comfortable with deck operations such as: line handling, mooring, anchoring etc.

Cruising area: Mediterranean, US, Caribbean, Galapagos.

Schengen visa essential. B1/B2 visa preferred.

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)
• Drivers License

Master/Skipper Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• RYA Yachtmaster Offshore

Engineering Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• MCA Approved Engine Course (AEC 1 & 2) Certificate
