50 m Motor Yacht USA Florida to New England itinary.
The Chief Stew is responsible for running the interior department,
leading a team of two. Working closely with the Owner,
• Responsible for ensuring the daily upkeep of the
interior, weekly and monthly duties are carried out
• Responsible for all guest and crew provisioning,
uniform purchasing and other misc interior items,
including wine purchasing.
• Monthly interior accounts
• Responsible for full interior inventories twice per year
for management
• Work closely with the Engineer regarding the regular
maintenance of the Interior and the AV system is
functioning.
• Must ensure that all the necessary interior
maintenance work is completed during yard periods,
to ensure it is kept at a very high standard. Working
with contractors.
• When the owners are onboard, the Chief Stew is the
primary point of contact for the Owners and
responsible for all service, whilst the other two Stews
are predominantly behind the scenes. Also often the
point of contact for when the Owners are not onboard.
• Work closely with the Capt. on guest itineraries and
organising activities and restaurant reservations.
Working with agents when necessary.
• Work closely with the Head Chef and ensure that
accurate preference sheets and records are
maintained
