Summary
We are looking to hire a Chef that is comfortable working on a yacht with a happy/fun crew of 4 and 2-6 guests. It's important to be adaptable to the Owner's preference, even if it's very basic. They prefer light meals with nice presentation. Trying to avoid a "Chef knows best" mentality that has a hard time conforming to the Owner's simple meal requests. Captain and crew love complex meals, flavors, and cuisines. Chef will be able to flex their culinary art more with the crew than the owners. Owners DO like great presentation though. Owners and crew both want health conscious food with an emphasis on HIGH PROTEIN, LOW CARB, and LOW CALORIE FOR THE OWNERS. A Chef that makes their own dressings, sauces, etc., as opposed to jarred sauces will be highly sought after. MOST IMPORTANTLY, a Chef with a calm demeanor that can handle stress/pressure effectively is a must. Lastly, I would like the Chef to work cohesively with the Stew to provide the highest level of experience for the Owners.
