Summary
We are seeking an experienced Male Travelling Butler to join a well-established and professional household team, supporting UHNW principals across multiple properties in Europe. This is a live-in role offering a rare opportunity to work within a formal, service-focused environment that values precision, discretion, and professionalism.
You’ll be working within a fully staffed residence, reporting directly to the principal, and supporting a broader team including a House Manager, outsourced security team, drivers, events staff, additional butlers, and housekeepers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Front-of-house duties, including silver service and formal table settings
- Morning routines: breakfast service, preparing cosmetics, and assisting with wardrobe
- Packing and unpacking for frequent international travel (often at short notice)
- Wardrobe management, care of delicate and luxury fabrics
- Ironing and liaising with the laundry team
- Occasional shopping and errand running
- Coordination with other departments, including the House Manager and on-travel Nurse
- Ensuring seamless service delivery at home and during travel
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a similar role within a private household or on luxury yachts
- Strong understanding of high-level service and etiquette
- Experience in wardrobe care and packing/unpacking for principals
- Confident with silver service and formal hospitality standards
- High attention to detail and discretion
- Flexible and comfortable with extensive travel
- A calm, professional, and pet-friendly individual
- Able to integrate into a long-standing and collaborative household team
