Chief Engineer in Turkey

Summary

COC requirement: Chief Engineer less than 500 GT, less than 3,000kW VII & III/3

 Itinerary: Med summer – Winter Italy for warranty works/refit. Mainly used only during the day. Very relaxed atmosphere

 Start Date: July 10/11 in Turkey for 4-5 day handover with current CE

 Duties:

-            Managing all engineering aspects on yacht (planned maintenance, repairs, inventories, contractors, budgeting, etc)

-             DEEP BLUE planned maintenance/log keeping

-             Helping on deck with lines/fenders/anchors while maneuvering

-             Help with guest watersports. Very team oriented mindset onboard.

Salary: DOE industry average, 13th month bonus, Owner's gratuities.

Rotation: 10weeks/10weeks

EU/UK candidates or candidates with EU/UK residence preferred. Would suit a 2/E looking to for first C/E position.

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)
• Drivers License
• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)

Engineering Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• RIII/3 Y4 Chief Engineer (<200gt <1500kW)/ EOOW III/1 (SV) (<3000gt <9000kW)
• RIII/3 Y3 Chief Engineer (<500gt <3000kW)/ Chief Engineer (SV) (<500gt 3000kW)
