Summary

Relief Engineer to cover our Chief's upcoming leave period.

Position will be for a little over a month including a full day handover with clear instructions and job list.

The period will include one or two weekend long boss trips with general cruising in the area and a few nights on anchor.

Other than that it's a standard 8 - 5pm gig with daily and weekly duties to keep the vessel ticking over until the Chief returns.

Live onboard position and cabin shared with the chef.

Vessel is a classic 38m motor yacht with a proud history. It really is one of a kind. Went through a full refit less than 5 years ago so all systems and gear in the engine room are modern and in good working condition.

Minimum safe manning requires an AEC. However, we are not looking for recently qualified engineers but rather someone who has a few years experience as a sole and preferrable on the SV training program working towards EOOW.

Preferably someone already located State side but this is flexible.
