We are seeking an experienced and qualified Sole Engineer to join a 2022 San Lorenzo 38m private motor yacht (350GT) based year-round in South Florida, with summer operations in New York.
Key Details:
- Start Date: ASAP
- Location: Based in South Florida (year-round) with occasional regional trips and summer cruising in New York
- Program: Private, well-maintained vessel with excellent owners
- Crew: Mixed nationality; American crew preferred
- Accommodation: Crew lives off-board in a provided apartment; candidates with their own local accommodation are welcome
- Guest Trips: Crew sleeps onboard only when guests are present
- Salary: Starting at $8,000 USD/month, with room for growth
- Citizenship/Work Status: Preference for American citizens or those with valid U.S. work rights
Ideal Candidate:
- Solid engineering experience aboard vessels of similar size/GT
- Comfortable in a stable, long-term, mostly local program
- Proactive, organized, and a strong communicator
- Able to integrate well within professional team
