2:2 Head of Service on a fabulous 100m+ private yacht. A busy and demanding programme, with some good travel. Incredible crew from the top down. Nice owners who really like to enjoy their vessel to the max in terms of entertainment, theme nights, events, etc. They like grand creative tables, lots of floral displays and many different types of service and cuisines. They’re big on cocktails, and love their wines, so the team needs to have great knowledge and skill set across the board. This is a really exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about service and sees a career ahead where she can grow and progress. This position truly manages all aspect of her team. Leading service, Provisioning, purchasing, budgeting, accounting, recruitment and training, are just some aspects of the job. An Interior Manager / Chief stewardess oversees the whole interior department, but the HOS will run the team and the service operations. Guest off, the whole interior team work together to maintain the vessel.
Must be totally comfortable and at ease with guest interaction, and have great communication skills. This position has extensive communication with the owner's office.
The crew are a bonded, close knit group who enjoy planning great activities and adventures when time permits.
Maybe an ideal role for someone who has 90m+ experience as a stewardess and Chief stewardess experience on a 50/60m+ who wants to make the step up in management on large boats. Or someone who is ready to jump from lead service on an 70m+ to HOS on a 100m+.MUSThave at least 3 years+ onboard superyachts, with experience of leading teams. Someone who is fit and active, with great stamina, positive energy, enthusiasm for the role
Longevity and outstanding references are key to succeeding in the application process. Valid driver’s license is essential.
Female candidates only due to cabin share situation. Must have at least 4 years onboard yachts, no exceptions. Must be active, fit and healthy.
Salary to be discussed at interview stages. Economy flights to repatriation included for each leave. Medical insurance included. Good benefits included. Training budget incorporated.
All essential visas and certificates must be valid and in good order for a late July start. A good handover will take place.
Those who already hold a B1/B2 visa will be favoured.
