Looking for an adventurous, skilled, and family-friendly JUNIOR CAPTAIN COUPLED WITH A STEWARDESS to join us aboard our brand-new Lagoon 60 sailing yacht. We’re a family embarking on a global sailing adventure. Our yacht is currently being built in Bordeaux, and once launched, we’ll participate in the ARC in November, explore the Caribbean, then head through the Panama Canal to explore the Pacific ending in Australia.
CAPTAIN: A passionate and capable sailor with experience on large catamarans. • Someone confident in navigation, passage planning, and yacht maintenance. • A responsible and easy-going team player who enjoys being around children. • Engineering/technical skills and safety knowledge are essential. • Enthusiasm for adventure, exploration, and life at sea! • Role & Responsibilities: • Assisting with sailing, navigation, and watch-keeping. • Help maintain and manage the yacht’s systems.
STEWARDESS: Experienced stew with strong background in hospitality or yacht service, you have a keen eye for detail and a knack for organization. • Hospitality & Service: Create a warm and inviting atmosphere by managing all interior duties, ensuring that our living spaces are clean and tidy. • Provisioning & Meal Preparation: Helping with provisioning, ensure our galley is well-stocked. • Help with cooking when needed. • Onboard Management: Organize and maintain the yacht’s interior, manage supplies, and support the smooth running of daily routines. • Family & Guest Care: Cater to the needs of our family, including helping with the children with some home school help.
FOR BOTH: Supporting and teaching the children about sailing and the ocean. • Being a reliable and positive presence onboard. • Passionate about adventure & excited by the prospect of traveling the world and exploring new cultures, all while offering excellent service on board, within a close-knit and supportive family as we navigate the globe together.
