Chase Boat Captain in Italy

CAPTAIN REQUIRED FOR A 16M PRIVATE MOTOR YACHT

This position requires an experienced captain to pick up the chase boat in Italy, commission it and bring to Spain. This can be a one months position or turn into a seasonal position.

Start date: asap – June 2025

Itinerary: Mediterranean Sea

We are looking for an experienced Captain for this 16m private MY; candidates applying must have at least two years’ experience in boat handling, ideally chase boats not just tenders. Have maintenance and captain experience of small craft. Must be able to be independent and plan/execute long passages around the Med with a deckhand.

REQUIREMENTS

· STCW95

· ENG1

· YM Offshore

· AEC or some engine course advantageous

· Radio operators license as minimum but RYA diesel engine maintenance also a benefit.

· Proven longevity and good references

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)

Master/Skipper Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• RYA Yachtmaster Offshore
