Sole Engineer position aboard Private/Charter 35m M/Y

This is an amazing opportunity to join that brand new yacht as she enters into the commissioning stages!

Start Date:  Immediately

Itinerary:    Western Med – followed by Eastern Med base and cruising

Package:    Competitive salary paid in Euros – 42 days leave

Experience and Attributes Required:

•   Minimum of 2 years’ experience on board 30m+ MY as Sole Engineer

•  Extensive Charter experience would be extremely advantageous

•   Excellent trouble shooting and fault-finding skills

•   Experience with MTU Engines would be beneficial

•   Must be a hands on and proactive engineer with the ability to assist in other departments when required

•   Attention to detail

•   Professional appearance

Qualifications Required:

•   Y3 CoC

•  MTU training certificate (preferred)

•   STCW BST (fully up-dated)

•    Seafarer’s Medical Certificate (Minimum 6 months' validity)

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• Drivers License
• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)

Engineering Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• RIII/3 Y3 Chief Engineer (<500gt <3000kW)/ Chief Engineer (SV) (<500gt 3000kW)
