55m private/charter motor yacht seeking an experienced Chief Officer.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as Chief Officer or strong Second Officer stepping up
- Excellent knowledge of ISM/ISPS & SOLAS requirements
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Professional, organized, and proactive
- Excellent deck management skills,
- Commitment to upholding the highest standards of safety and service
- Flexible, calm under pressure, and a team player
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written
Duties include:
- Safety Officer & Ship Security Officer
- Overseeing navigational planning and bridge operations
- Assisting the Captain in the safe and efficient running of the vessel
- Leading and mentoring the deck team with hands-on guidance
- Coordinating exterior maintenance, appearance, and deck schedules
Minumum certification:
- Chief Mate 3000GT
- ECDIS Generic( Furuno Type Specific PLUS)
- GMDSS (GOC)
- STCW
- ENG 1 or equivalent seafarer's medical
- Schengen Visa (or EU resident)
Prefered additional certification:
- Ship Security Officer
- Safety Officer course
- ECDIS - Furuno Type Specific
- PWC Instructor
- B1/B2 visa
