EXPERIENCED HEAD HOUSEKEEPER REQUIRED FOR HNW FAMILY IN WESTMINSTER

A lovely high-net-worth family of four are looking to recruit a reliable, skilled and organised full-time Head Housekeeper for their 3-bedroom apartment in Central London. Managing and working collaboratively alongside another full-time housekeeper, the Head Housekeeper will possess an exceptional eye for detail, a good team player mentality as well as having prior experience working as part of a staffed household.
Responsible for the cleanliness and upkeep of the family’s home, duties will include general housekeeping, laundry, ironing, wardrobe management and caring for delicate items such as cashmeres and silks, as well as ordering of household supplies, contractor/vendor management and errand running. Though no childcare duties are required, the family are looking to appoint a child-friendly Head Housekeeper with proven longevity to remain with them long-term.
Working Monday to Friday, you will work from 7am-2pm daily. The ideal candidate will be approachable, friendly and professional, as well as having excellent interpersonal and managerial skills. The family are looking for a dynamic candidate with a can-do attitude who is flexible in their ways of working to start as soon as possible.
DUTIES TO INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
· Daily cleaning including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, changing beds, cleaning bathrooms and kitchen
· Laundry, ironing, and wardrobe management, including caring for fine fabrics
· Packing and unpacking for the principals
· Polishing silver, glass, marble, and other high-end surfaces
· Assisting with food and beverage service; meeting and greeting guests
· Preparing a light breakfast for the family
· Ensuring the maintenance requirements of the property are kept up to date; booking and managing contractors and tradesmen, overseeing their work
· Managing household supplies, receiving and unpacking deliveries
· Managing the housekeeping rota and compiling jobs lists
· Errand running and dealing with sending/receipt of mail
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
· Prior managerial experience in a similar role
· Fluency in English & the eligibility to work in the UK
· Hardworking and dedicated
· High attention to detail

· Ability to manage and oversee contractors and tradesmen
