Chief Engineer in Bahamas

Summary

We are searching for an experienced freelance Chief Engineer to cover leave for our Engineer who needs to go on leave by the 13th. Join in Nassau, Bahamas. 

• 50 m Westport -
• Cayman Flagged 
• Commercially registered 
• 11 crew
• Vessel will spend the rest of the summer in Bahamas before returning to Ft Lauderdale beginning of August. 

 Minimum Y3 with relevant experience in similar roles. 

 Needs to maintain a neat and organized workspace, be hands on and well presented with sober habits. 

 All relevant certificates up to date. 

 Standard MLC contract with fixed term from 10th June - 4th August. 

 $12-13k DOE. 

 4 day handover with CE whilst assisting with annual Flag state survey 10 -11June. 

 2 charters possibly 3 and 1 owners trip

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)

Engineering Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• RIII/3 Y3 Chief Engineer (<500gt <3000kW)/ Chief Engineer (SV) (<500gt 3000kW)
