Chief Officer/1st Mate in Monaco

Summary

New build 45m private MY looking for an experienced OOW Chief Mate.

Boat is Monaco flag so you will get all the benefits including great health insurance. You need to have had 5 years experience and good longevity on similar size yacht and have used ISM, ECDIS and be able to run crew drills. You will be trained in manoeuvres and if you have new build experience that is a great bonus.

MUST HAVE - EU PASSPORT or FRENCH/ITALIAN RESIDENCE PERMIT

OFFER - 3:1 rotation and salary 5500 Euros negotiable for right candidate.

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)

Master/Skipper Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• RYA Yachtmaster Ocean
• MCA Master <200gt / OOW <500gt
• MCA CoC Officer of the Watch <3000gt
• RYA Yachtmaster Coastal Skipper
• MCA Yacht Rating Certificate
• RYA Yachtmaster Offshore

RYA/MCA Deck Modules (OR Short Courses & equivalent)

• PYA/MCA Training Record Book
• Navigation & Radar (OOW Yachts)
• General Ship Knowledge (OOW Yachts)

RYA Qualifications

• RYA Advanced Powerboat
• RYA Personal Watercraft Proficiency (PWC)
• RYA VHF Marine Radio (SRC)
