We are seeking a skilled and experienced Engineer to join our team on a 95ft US flagged motor yacht. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marine engineering and be capable of ensuring the operational effectiveness of the vessel. Responsibilities
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of all mechanical and electrical systems on board.
- Conduct regular inspections and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with the captain and crew to maintain the overall efficiency of the yacht.
- Maintain inventory of spare parts and manage supply orders.
- Assist in routine cleaning and upkeep of the engine room and machinery spaces.
Qualifications
- Valid STCW & current Seafarers medical
- Proven experience in yacht or marine engineering, preferably on similar-sized vessels.
- Strong knowledge of marine systems, including engines, generators, HVAC, and electrical systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills.
