Silver Swan is currently seeking a Live-Out Part-Time Housekeeper to support the smooth operation of two beautiful, neighbouring properties in Central London. You will work alongside a full-time housekeeper to maintain exceptionally high standards in a calm, structured, and well-run household. This is an ideal position for someone looking for a long-term, stable role in a respectful and professional environment.

Responsibilities:
- Support the full-time housekeeper in the daily upkeep and deep cleaning of both properties (totaling approx. 1,000 sqm)
- Clean and care for a range of luxury materials including silk carpets, marble, antique furniture, and fine art
- Maintain 6 ensuite bedrooms, 4 guest toilets, spa facilities (steam room, sauna, jacuzzi), and a 20m swimming pool
- Polish cutlery, clean fine glassware, and maintain overall shine and presentation
- Occasional light laundry duties (only when the family is in residence)
- Work proactively, identifying areas needing attention without being prompted
- Accept feedback constructively and work collaboratively as part of a small domestic team
- Maintain absolute discretion and a high level of professionalism
- Flexibility to occasionally work weekends (with advance notice; maximum 3–4 times per year)
- Bonus opportunities available when additional hours are worked while Principals are in residence
Ideal Candidate:
- Legally permitted to live and work in the UK
- Based in London and able to commute daily to Central London
- Fluent in English; additional languages a bonus but not essential
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a similar role within private households
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques for various high-end materials and surfaces
- Team-oriented and respectful of workplace hierarchy
- Reliable, serious, and committed – seeking long-term, stable employment
- Detail-oriented and proactive, able to take initiative and think independently
- Professional, discreet, and trustworthy
Package:
- Salary: £26,000 gross annually (based on 25 hours/week)
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Holidays: 28 days annual leave plus UK Bank Holidays
- Bonus: Additional pay for occasional weekend or extended hours when the Principals are in residence
