1st Mate – 35m + Private Motor Yacht

Location: Med (Summer)

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: Euros DOE 

We’re looking for an experienced 1st Mate to join a 35m+ private motor yacht. The vessel runs with a professional crew and offers a supportive, team-focused environment.

Requirements:

Minimum OOW 500GT

Experience on yachts 30+

Strong deck skills and tender driving

Confident leader with a hands-on attitude

STCW, ENG1, PDSD, Powerboat Level 2

ISM/ISPS experience a plus

Responsibilities:

Lead deck operations and maintenance

Bridge watchkeeping and navigation support

Safety drills and equipment checks

Guest activities and mooring procedures

Male candidates only due to cabin arrangements. 

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• Drivers License
• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)

Master/Skipper Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• MCA Master <200gt / OOW <500gt
