Currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented deckhand to join a foreign-flagged private vessel based in Fort Lauderdale.
This is a great opportunity for someone newer, not new, to the industry with solid hands-on skills and a strong work ethic.
Based in Fort Lauderdale with travel to the Bahamas, the Keys, and up the East Coast
- Long-standing crew and estate staff – Captain and key team members have been with the family for 30+ years
Position Details:
- No license required
- Ideal for someone who is confident and can work independently on deck
- Duties include washdowns, detailing, line handling, and general upkeep of all exterior areas
- Pay is DOE
Candidate Requirements:
- Must have a B1/B2 visa already in hand if not a US passport or Green Card.
- Clean-cut, professional, and detail-oriented
- Absolutely no smoking of any kind (non-negotiable)
- Willing to undergo background check and drug testing
- Open to flying candidates to Florida, if experience aligns, must have visa in hand.
Start Date:
- Ideally available to begin first week of June
